Offa’s Dyke is situated on the outskirts of the village of Lydbrook, above the Wye valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The home sits on the edge of woodland and in close proximity to the Learning Centre and Orchards 1 & 2. Offa’s Dyke is a purpose built residence and is fully wheelchair accessible.
Offa’s Dyke is made up of 2 adjoining houses, Silver Birch and Oak House.
Silver Birch and Oak House are purpose-built homes which were completed in January 2013 providing wheelchair access, specialist equipment and hoists for people with learning disabilities, and profound and multiple disabilities.
There is also easy access to the following facilities:
A sensory garden
A smallholding with a variety of livestock, including goats, sheep, hens and ducks
A therapy centre consisting of a hydrotherapy pool and Rebound facility
Immediate access to a wheelchair friendly woodland walk
