Supported Living Worker

About us:

We provide daily support within our homes for people with learning and/or physical disabilities. We welcome experience, but this is not essential as a full training package is provided, that includes The Care Certificate, along with the opportunity to progress to HSC Diploma 2 & 3 should you wish to progress your career.


A supported Living Worker role will be varied and will include supporting people to access the community for social outings, shopping, swimming, special events etc, and also in house activities. You will also support people to health related appointments; provide personal care and much much more.

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Care Assistants to support our clients in our Supported Living home in Lydney.

Part time positions available:

20 hours permanent

30 hours Maternity cover until approx mid - August

(there is some flexibility with amount of hours)

Salaries and Rewards:

Along with a basic salary from £8.16ph (6 month probationary rate of £7.93) you will also be entitled to a Cashback Healthcare Scheme, Life Assurance and a workplace pension.

Accounts and Payroll Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts and Payroll Assistant to join our friendly team. Working within a busy office your role will be to support the Finance Manager by undertaking the following tasks:

  • Assist with preparation and processing of monthly payroll as required
  • Assist with employee payroll queries
  • Work with managers ensuring relevant information is provided in a timely manner
  • Processing sales and purchase ledger
  • Supporting with customer and supplier enquiries
  • Preparing twice monthly payments runs
  • Assisting with the preparation of month end and Management Accounts
  • Actioning petty cash requests and reconciliations
  • Undertaking regular client finance audits
  • General filing and other administrative duties

Essential Experiences/Skills:

  • High standard of formal education
  • Computer literate, preferably with knowledge of accounting systems
  • Sound knowledge of accounting processes
  • Working knowledge of payroll and auto enrollment pension systems
  • Experience of working within a busy accounts department

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • ACCA/AAT qualified or working towards
  • Previous experience using TAS accounts and Sage 50 Payroll
  • Experience in charity accounts


  • Good analytical and system interrogations skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work in a team environment, work under pressure, meet deadlines and work independently as required

Full time position - 37.5 hours

Night Bank Support Worker - required at Sevenoaks in Coleford.  £7.83 per hour, in addition you will receive a payment of 95p per hour (equivalent to 12.07% of your hourly rate) as payment for holiday under the Working Time Regulations 1998.
